It was an unlucky time for Henry who decided to find a different venue for his nightly hunt. The newly abandoned house had gained a new owner, a strange one at that, his comrades would say. But Henry paid them no heed. He decided to stake his claim and stealthily flew his way into the eerie house where he waited until it was nighttime.
The moon snuck out from hiding to take its place on the sky crowning the clouds.
The new owner, one that went by the name of William, Henry learned, had been busy in one room of the house mostly muttering to himself and talking as if in conversation with a book.
"Whatever" Henry thought as he waited. Tonight he will have the prey all to himself. "Lucky is he who takes the risk" he thought patting himself from for the initiative.
Eventually, William went to bed, grumbling jumbled words as if still haunted by whatever work he was working on. It didn't matter to Henry one bit as he waited by the bedroom. The strange man began to undress to reveal a completely naked but yellow tinted skin, rolls seemingly fusing like ebbs of waves permanently stuck to place.
Henry hesitated a little but his hunger grew and it didn't take long for his desire to eat to overtake his doubts.
By this time, William had already gone to sleep with his entire flesh completely exposed. Sweet. Without flinching, Henry extended his wings and with a swift motion, he dove down to take a bite of his prey.
He took a swig, William merely mumbled something incoherent "tower...block...devito...tomato...potato"
“It tasted like cheese” Henry thought as he decided to go for some more. Each sip felt addictive as Henry couldn't stop himself until he eventually became so bloated that he felt his stomach near explosion. His eyes became swollen as were other parts of his body. He wanted to remove his sucker but the thing is stuck to the skin like it was glued. Head, torso, even his wings all began to feel like they are bubbles ready to burst as he became fused and molded like a balloon on which the outlines of what he used to be was drawn in the circular perspective.
Henry panicked and tried hard to pull his sucker off when all of a sudden an eye opened on the arm where he sucked on.
"Like that?" spoke William still asleep with a grin, dreaming.
A slit opened just below the eye on the arm where Henry was stuck, forming lips that circled and it blew Henry away where he popped soon after.
"Damn mosquito" William groaned before mumbling incoherent words "tower...block...devito...tomato...potato"
Clever. I love it 😄
