Passing Days
POETRY: No matter what you do, the days will always come pass you
September came to say hello To a wandering soul on a boat Pulling anchors where it goes But September went without a word Leaving her anxious for its return October came to sing a haunting tune As memories came flooding in But it quickly left without resolve A ghastly wake of broken dreams Leaving her gasping for hollow tears November came like the year before All the longing slowly went away Despite the darkened shroud of clouds A warm light hides from display She'll find hope within the doubts December is but a flicker of a day And soon the year comes to sleep All the days walking past Vanishing with every breeze She finds comfort through restless peace Chaos is but order in disarray A puzzle to solve through each day delayed Fear before courage yet gained Something adversity shall obtain As she walks steadily never to remain
